Cinimex Migrated PARK Group to a New Sales Management System

For 20 years, PARK Group had utilized and enhanced an accounting system based on “1C: Sales Management 10.3” Over this period, the system functionality was expanded significantly, including: automatic prediction of future sales and estimation of stock requirements overall and for each retail outlet; automatic generation of supplier orders and merchandise classification based on the accumulated sales data; “upgraded” cashier workplace which offers assistance and advice to store assistants; smart marketing campaign builder and many others.

Cinimex team performed migration from the current, seriously modified system to “1C: Sales Management 11.5”, retaining and adapting legacy modifications to the new system’s functionality.

“Our goal was to eliminate the technological constraints of the outdated platform, such as long user waiting time as a result of automatic blocking. Besides, we wanted to get a system built on the up-to-date version of “1C: Sales Management 11.5” to make sure we comply with new regulatory requirements, such as mandatory product marking, for example,” says Ivan Shvetsov, Owner of PARK Group.

“The biggest challenge of the project was that we had no records on the previous modifications and business processes. We refactored the system in order to analyze the historical code and key users’ experience. Our team’s automation experience allowed us to achieve all the goals set by the customer and adapt system functionality. Owing to the newly implemented solution, the retailer will be able to avoid undue delays in business processes for all users,” comments Andrey Guryev, Cinimex’s Director of ERP systems.
