By 2008, Large Scandinavian bank had significantly expanded its customer service portfolio. Business growth, new tasks and numerous IT solutions implemented in the bank required a brand new level of IT infrastructure, including an integration platform and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Project Outcomes
Development of inter-branch transaction mechanisms. Integration of different applications across 11 branches of the bank.
Development of Zero Balancing, a Cash Management product, which was relatively new for the Russian market. It is one of the most complex Cash Management products, which required high-level integration of numerous banking applications.
The new integration platform for the bank was built using IBM ESB. It met all the requirements to enterprise integration platform and was a perfect solution to the tasks set out in the brief.
As a result of the project, the bank was able to successfully migrate to the new ABS and implement a new SOA-based IT infrastructure.
