Cinimex, Russian developer of B2B IT-systems, wound up the year 2021 with total earnings of 2,710,084,365 rubles, 23.8% up from the previous year.
In 2021, the IT integrator extended its market presence both by venturing into new niches beyond the company’s traditional sector – finance, and by enlisting new partners from large vendors.
In 2021, the company was awarded the status of Official Partner of Astra Linux Group – manufacturer of software, secure operating systems and virtualization platforms.
Cinimex and NPO “Adaptive Industrial Technologies” (APROTECH) partnered up to cooperate on industrial Internet of things.
Over the year, Cinimex was busy with numerous projects featuring deployment of third-party software, custom turnkey-ready software development, and building teams for collaborative work with customers. The company’s portfolio comprises high-tech projects for major players of banking, retail and manufacturing industries.
Cinimex continued implementing an integration platform for Russian Agriculture Bank. The project team upgraded the integration platform to Active-Active. This configuration enables horizontal scaling of platform capacity by adding new servers and modernizing and updating platform components without totally disconnecting the platform. Besides, the legacy ABS was withdrawn from use, with dozens of platform services rewritten, due to an outdated ESB that had to be removed from service.
In 2021, Cinimex team refined the functionality of troubled debt management tool for a subdivision of Russian Agriculture Bank. Improvements affected such areas as performance discipline, new methodologies of responsible employee management, synchronization of system users with external directories, document management, and updating critical business processes.
In 2021, Cinimex started the implementation of “Tax monitoring window” software tool in Russian Agriculture Bank. The platform is designed to ensure legal compliance of data disclosure for the purposes of tax monitoring. The solution gives bank managers additional control over the quality of information disclosure, thus minimizing financial and reputational risks. Cinimex and specialists from the bank teamed up to customize the solution, design and develop integration module for data upload from bank systems into the tax monitoring window, and carried out a full cycle of works – deployment, testing, and paperwork in accordance with the bank’s internal regulations.
In 2021, Cinimex took part in connecting Russian Agriculture Bank to the Saint-Petersburg Stock Exchange. The bank wanted to offer its clients access to the stock market in the capacity of professional or private broker. Cinimex developers were responsible for development and coherence of brokerage and depositary services, and tested a number of modules (inter-bank lending, financial futures and currency exchange instruments, securities, and bills).
Cinimex team was also involved in the development of a remote banking service for Russian Agriculture Bank’s corporate customers and self-employed entrepreneurs from scratch. The team took part in the development and testing of several modules – payroll, letters, help, notifications.
In 2021, Cinimex continued with support and new development of various services and systems for Gazprombank: integration platform – interface management system, Host-to-Host integration service, Payment Hub functionality, ledger of invoices. Improvements also included the automated office support management system – the team put the finishing touches on the functionality of integration with the transmitter. Company specialists also implemented integration of the office support and depositary system with the Service integration platform as part of the “Integrated MDM” project. Service integration platform also got a new component – “publications-subscriptions”.
As for new services delivered to Gazprombank, Cinimex developed a solution that will enable provision of an API to bank’s partners, and services for the customers of MVNO “GPB Mobile”.
Cinimex team developed a module for processing and secure upload of reports related to contract management. In 2021, Cinimex also started working on corporate card functionality for Gazprom’s remote banking system aimed at corporate customers.
In 2021, Cinimex and “Otkritie” bank continued working on the project of a Single Frontal Solution (SFS). The idea of SFS is that bank managers will be able to perform all the tasks through a single application, without using any external systems. The new system has helped to reduce customer service, operations and payment times.
Cinimex completed the deployment of API Gateway platform in OTP Bank. The bank required an API management tool to improve internal teamwork, streamline API communication with internal systems and publication for external users. Developers implemented a product enabling central registry and control over the use of interfaces, with minimal data transformation when called by different users.
In Rosbank, Cinimex continued working on new services. As part of the new front office, the list of previously automated business processes was expanded with “Re-packaging” process, which enables Rosbank’s corporate customers to switch to another service plan.
Cinimex team continued working on Н2Н exchange of documents between Rosbank and other Société Generale group banks in compliance with ISO 20022. Namely, the features added include the function for sending statements of accounts, a richer functionality universal adapter, and a new monitoring module.
In 2021, Cinimex took part in the development of a transport gateway for the accounting information system. Also, in light of the new requirements issued by Rosfinmonitoring, Cinimex made the required adjustments to enable the switch to the new format of “Black lists”.
In 2021, Cinimex deployed an ESB in Volkswagen Bank Rus. The solution was designed to enable communication between different lines of business (from SMS to exchanging payment order information between banks) and introduce a single integration standard across the bank.
In 2021, Cinimex continued working on a solution for integration of Sibur’s accounting systems with payment and accounting systems of servicing banks using Host-to-Host technology.
In 2021, Cinimex continued the implementation of the project “Executive Documentation Management” for NIPIGAS as part of the construction of the Amur gas chemical facility. The new system developed by Cinimex will allow NIPIGAS to reduce costs and audit risks, and enhance the quality of construction-related executive documentation. The software was developed using client-server architecture and the following technology stack: Java, Nginx, React, Postgress, KeyCloаk, Minio, CryptoPro, Ansible.
In 2021, Cinimex developers were involved in the 5post project for the federal logistics company – member of X5 Group, which ships orders placed on partner online shops and marketplaces to parcel lockers and pickup points in Pyaterochka and Perekrestok supermarkets. Cinimex developers teamed up with X5 to implement software for parcel lockers, including centralized services (logging and administration). The joint development team delivered: role-based model for parcel locker management subsystems, new parcel locker specifications, locker activity logging in the admin panel.
Cinimex implemented a large ML-project “Segmentation 2.0” for Rosgosstrakh. The project included three areas of services based on machine learning – geolocation segmentation, identification of high-risk clients, dealer due diligence using data processing methods.
In 2020, at the request of Stoloto, distributor of nationwide state-run lottery, Cinimex developed a system that enhances efficiency of lottery tickets’ distribution across different post offices. The project included development of proprietary machine learning algorithms that help to predict demand at the point of sale. In 2021, the project went into scaling phase: we added over 100 controlled variables affecting sales, transportation and disposal of state-run lottery tickets in each of the 40 thousand post offices that sell Stoloto lottery tickets. The upgraded system allows to significantly reduce costs and modify sales strategy for a specific draw or all the tickets.
We are also still engaged in a comprehensive project for a foreign customer, where we are developing a system for marketing campaign optimization based on machine-learning algorithms, which allow adjusting the strategy of online advertising optimization in real time. The system controls budgets, target audience, content, texts, and other ad campaign parameters.
“Last year, we consolidated the leading positions in our traditional businesses, we were engaged in large infrastructure projects and also sought out new high tech niches. We focused on driving up the share of non-finance customers and building competences in IoT. Following the labour market trends, we opted to make the team bigger and support talent,” commented Cinimex CEO Andrey Sykulev.
