Cinimex awarded TAdviser IT Prize 2022
Cinimex received the TAdviser IT Prize 2022 in the “Government-Business Interaction – Project of the Year” category. TAdviser analytic agency awarded the national prize in IT for implementation of the VK tax monitoring platform in Russian Agriculture Bank. The system is designed to enable digital interaction between legal entities and government agencies within a single information environment.
The IT project was implemented to reduce the time spent by Russian Agriculture Bank communicating with tax authorities. Besides, the solution implemented by Cinimex enables Bank employees to carry out additional quality control of disclosed information and minimize financial and reputational losses.
The award ceremony was attended by Oksana Zhukova and Aleksey Novikov, Executive Director and IT Deputy Director at Russian Agriculture Bank JSC, Alexander Shalukho, Head of Taxation Methodology and Control under the Accounting and Taxation Unit of Russian Agriculture Bank, Maxim Matrenichev, Deputy Director for Key Clients and Partners of Cinimex, Andrei Chernenko, Director of B2G Platform Services at VK Digital Technologies.
“The project is unique in that it was the first time that VK tax monitoring platform was implemented in the banking area, a peculiar one. The project team showed professional expertise with a focus on details and particularities of the task,” comments Maxim Matrenichev, Deputy Director for Key Clients and Partners of Cinimex.
“When selecting the tax monitoring platform, we first looked at systems with the most comprehensive and ready-to-use functionality facilitating compliance with all requirements imposed by the Federal Tax Service of Russia on tax monitoring participants, including with regard to disclosure of internal tax control data and ‘drill down’ implementation (analytical practice that allows you to visualize different levels of data). The contractor also was selected against a great number of criteria. The final choice was made following the open tender; the VK Group product and competencies of our colleagues from Cinimex-Informatika JSC fully met our requirements. As a result, we were able to complete the project within a limited timeframe taking due account of all particularities of tax reporting in banks,” comments Alexander Shalukho, Head of Taxation Methodology and Control under the Accounting and Taxation Unit of Russian Agriculture Bank.
“The success of the project became possible due to the symbiosis of the vendor and integrator teams and internal specialists of the bank, including business people. The project goals were achieved in full scope. The tax monitoring data mart offering remote access for Federal Tax Service specialists allows us to disclose accounting and tax data. This eliminates the need for field audits, requests for paper documents, tax measures in bank’s premises,” says Alexei Novikov, IT Deputy Director at Russian Agriculture Bank.
Winners of the TAdviser IT PRIZE were announced on May 31 at TAdviser SummIT, an annual TAdviser event.
